What is antonia lloyd-jones?

Antonia Lloyd-Jones is a Polish-English translator and critic who has translated more than 40 books from Polish into English. She was educated at the University of Cambridge and has lived in Warsaw, Poland since 1990. Throughout her career, she has worked as a language teacher, translator, and journalist in Poland and the UK. Lloyd-Jones has received numerous accolades for her work, including the Found in Translation Award in 2010, for her translation of Paweł Huelle's "Castorp". She has also been shortlisted for the Oxford-Weidenfeld Translation Prize three times. Lloyd-Jones is a member of the Translators Association, a society for literary translators, and has served as its chair.
